Sapa Profiles North America Plant, Morris, IL

Site Profile

The world’s largest aluminum profiles producer closed its 720,000-square-foot aluminum-extrusion manufacturing plant in 2009. Located on a 70-acre parcel, the site was scheduled for future reutilization.

Project Description

Before the facility’s warehousing and industrial structures were dismantled and razed, all materials, equipment and tools were salvaged for auction as part of an asset recovery that was conducted in phases to maximize client investment. More than 98 percent of all materials generated from various demolition activities were recycled.
